外国人研究員Ni Ni Naing氏のご紹介です。 My name is Ni Ni Naing. I am Librarian from Universities’ Central Library, University of Yangon, Myanmar. I would like to express my sincere gratitude and deep appreciation to CSEAS and for giving me the great change as a visiting research scholar for 3 months; to compile the selected annotated bibliography of books on Myanmar ethnic groups ( Shan and Kayin). I also thank you very much for your warm welcome. I am glad to see you all at the CSEAS. I hope that I will gain valuable experiences in my academic life and for my library in Kyoto and also have cooperation between the two libraries in the future. Universities’ Central Library (UCL) is more information than other academic libraries in Myanmar. UCL is central of all University libraries in Myanmar. UCL has the largest collection of books, palm-leaf and parabike manuscripts in Myanmar , mainly for research and reference.
