CSEAS Library Information about COVID-19 Restrictions

CSEAS Library, Kyoto University are now closed to the public, and using some restrictions due to COVID-19 expansion. Please check our information below.
1. Admission restrictions (April 13th – May 31th)
Opening hours : 10:00 – 16:00
CSEAS Members, ASAFAS faculty staff can enter the library
Others : Receive materials at the counter only
Please wear a mask and disinfect your hands with alcohol at the entrance.
2. Borrowing materials of CSEAS Library (April 13th – May 31th)
We recommend to use this reservation service.
Please send your request through the following web form.
The numbers of materials you can borrow via this form : Max. 10 items
2) Pick up your reserved material(s)
Please come to the CSEAS Library counter after receiving our reply mail.
Reservation period : Up to 1 week
Please bring the following card with you.
Student or Faculty IC Card (issued by Kyoto University)
Library Card (issued by Main Library or CSEAS Library)
3) Contact Address about borrowing
Please email your query to : b_order[at]cseas.kyoto-u.ac.jp
* Replace [at] with @
* fill in clearly your name , affiliation, and your ID card Number into email
3. Returning material(s) (April 13th –March 31th 2021)
Please return the material(s) to the book return at the library entrance.
You can use postal mail or other delivery services for returning materials.
Only postal mail or other delivery services with delivery proof can be available.
Please keep the delivery proof with you after the arrival of materials.

・Pack the library materials appropriately so that they are not damaged in transportation.
・Please note ‘Returned Books’ on the package.
