Ms. Missita Sompong as visiting research fellow arrived from Thailand.

Dear all,

My name is Sompong Missita.
I work as a librarian from Sanamchandra Palace Library, the Central Library of Silpakorn University.
The library is located in a small town that is not far from Bangkok.Moreover, Silpakorn University just celebrated
its 70 th anniversary in 2003. I have worked here for 27 years. I love my job because it is fulfill my dream.
Unfortunately, I thought that the world has changed so it is about time for me to get more experience
in order to provide knowledge and skills to students who are facing new technology.
When I got the fellowship from Kyoto University, I intended to do research on the topic of the model
of collaborative between lecturers and librarians for information literacy of undergraduate students
majoring in Japanese: A case study of Silpakorn University.
When I be in Japan. I believe that this chance will provide me new experiences, open my vision and add my skills
in the way of learning and sharing all knowledge.
Moreover, this opportunity will challenge my ideas for my works in the near future.

ดิฉันสมปอง มิสสิตะ เป็นบรรณารักษ์ จากหอสมุดพระราชวังสนามจันทร์ สำนักหอสมุดกลาง
มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร อยู่ในจังหวัดนครปฐม เมืองเล็กๆ ที่อยู่ไม่ไกลจากกรุงเทพมหานครซึ่งเป็นเมือง
หลวงของประเทศ ในปี 2556 มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากรมีอายุครบรอบ 70 ปี ส่วนดิฉันทำงานที่นี่นับถึง
ปัจจุบันเป็นเวลา 27 ปี
เมื่อโลกและสังคมเปลี่ยนไปอย่างรวดเร็ว การศึกษาที่ได้รับมาในอดีตและประสบการณ์ที่สะสมมา
อาจไม่พอสำหรับการทำงานในปัจจุบัน จึงถึงเวลาฉันจะออกไปแสวงหาความรู้และประสบการณ์ใหม่
เพื่อกลับไปทำงานในห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยที่มีส่วนสนับสนุนให้นักศึกษามีทักษะของศตวรรษที่ 21
การที่ดิฉันได้รับโอกาสจากมหาวิทยาลัยโตเกียวให้มาทำงานวิจัยเรื่อง “รูปแบบความร่วมมือระหว่าง
อาจารย์กับบรรณารักษ์เพื่อการรู้สารสนเทศของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี เอกวิชาภาษาญี่ปุ่น
กรณีศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร”
การได้มาใช้ชีวิตในประเทศญี่ปุ่นจึงเป็นโอกาสของการเรียนรู้และการแบ่งปันประสบการณ์ระหว่าง
กันจะเป็นการเพิ่มทักษะและมุมมอง สิ่งเหล่านี้เป็นเรื่องที่ท้าทายว่าดิฉันจะนำกลับไปพัฒนางานที่
รับผิดชอบได้อย่างไรในอนาคต
